Video: ¡Vivimos! Part II “The People Take Arms”

Being a dad is all about balance. You spend so much time parenting and keeping your kids happy and alive that you deserve a chance to relax. For many dads, especially in the summer, that means sitting on the patio and having a cold drink.

BACARDI is always a great choice.

Right now BACARDÍ has a new campaign going that celebrates courageous spirits (dads?)

¡Vivimos!, “we live,” is the toast celebrating that irrepressible spirit, inspiring men (dads) to live bold and passionate lives.

BACARDÍ rum’s heritage and roots are of course proudly Cuban, with a rich history spanning more than 150 years. If you did not know that, maybe you are not relaxing/drinking enough.

To feature this rich heritage, there are a few new videos out from BACARDI that show off a new film.

The story depicted in the film is inspired from actual historical events that shaped the brand.

This new video, (inspired by real events), celebrates the irrepressible spirit of Emilio Bacardi Moreau, who was more than a rum magnate. Emilio, the eldest son of the founder of BACARDÍ, coordinated an underground network to transmit secret messages and distribute revolutionary newspapers from his rum factory in the late 1800s.
