A new month, and the last of the new TV show releases for 2,025, ready to sabotage whatever tiny amount of free time you have left. December knows you have a lot of holiday plans, and that’s why it’s pretty slim pickings for shows worth your time. But you are here to be entertained, so here’s what I’ll be watching as 2025 wraps up.
The Abandons (Dec. 4, Netflix) Set in the 1850s, the series centers on the conflicts of several outlaw groups during the Old West. It stars Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson.
Fallout S2 (Dec. 17, Amazon Prime) The second season continues the story set in the wasteland of post-nuclear America and will introduce New Vegas, a major location from the video game Fallout: New Vegas. I personally never finished the first season, but I have a few friends who really enjoyed both the video game and the first season of the show.
The Copenhagen Test (Dec 27, Peacock) A spy thriller that stars Simu Liu as an agent whose noggin has been infiltrated by bad guys, allowing them to access anything he sees and hears. Sounds a little silly, but once you reach the end of December, standards are low.
