A new month, a new list of TV shows ready to clog up your watchlist. November brings everything from high-concept sci-fi and mystery thrillers to the return of one of my favourite shows of 2024. Yes, American Thanksgiving is looming, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for TV watching. Here’s what I will be checking out in November.

All Her Fault (Nov 6, Peacock, Showcase in Canada) Based on Andrea Mara’s bestselling novel, All Her Fault stars Sarah Snook as a mother whose son vanishes during a playdate—only to find the woman answering the door has never heard of him. It’s a tense, psychological mystery that digs into paranoia, guilt, and the uneasy quiet of suburbia. It’s hard not to see Snook as Shiv Roy, but I will give this one a look.
Pluribus (Nov 7, Apple TV+) From Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan comes Pluribus, a mind-bending drama starring Rhea Seehorn as a woman caught in a world where the laws of physics—and morality—don’t quite line up. Expect sharp writing, dark humour, and the kind of slow-burn chaos Apple TV+ seems to love right now. I have to admit, I am feeling like another Severance and nothing like Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul. As they said in Andor, I am keeping my expectations calibrated.
The Beast in Me (Nov. 13, Netflix) Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys star in The Beast in Me, a moody psychological thriller about an author who returns to her hometown and becomes entangled with a neighbour hiding something dark. It’s eerie, stylish, and packed with the slow tension Netflix does best. I am hoping the best of Homeland merges with the best of The Americans. We shall see.
Last Samurai Standing (Nov 13, Netflix) Netflix blends historical drama with a survival thriller in Last Samurai Standing. Set in the final years of the samurai era, 292 warriors are drawn into a deadly contest where honour and survival collide. Expect sweeping battles, political intrigue, and striking visuals straight out of a fever dream. To me, this one screams Netflix trying to do Shogun, and that turns me off just a tad.
Landman S2 (Nov 16, Paramount Plus) Man, I have to say, when I saw the trailer for this show in the summer, I was excited. Landman was easily one of my favourite shows of 2024, and I am so happy for Tommy to be back, driving all over Texas in his truck. Taylor Sheridan’s oil-field drama will bring us new faces, bigger stakes, and the same gritty energy. Landman will continue exploring how far people will go when there’s real money in the ground.
What are you most excited to watch?
