Oh boy, what a piece of news. Sony dropped the trailer for the next edition of Ghost of Tsushima. This time the adventure moves to a different part of Japan – Ghost of Yōtei.
I was a little late to the Tsushima party and had only played it over the last month. It came out in 2020, but due to word of mouth, this game has become one of the all-time best. Now, there is more.
Every now and then a trailer drops that gets me excited for TV again. That happened the other day when this was released for the second season of Lioness.
Who is watching Slow Horses on Apple TV+? Maybe some of you? Hard to know as Apple shows don’t seem to be popular among the masses even though many of them are extremely good.
Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, and most recently, Presumed Innocent, get all the buzz, but Slow Horses just might be Apple’s best show.
When it comes to creating a memorable meal, the kitchen might be where the magic happens, but it’s the journey that often makes the destination worth the wait. Embracing the simple pleasures of life—like a family meal prepared with love—can transform an ordinary day into an extraordinary one. That’s precisely what makes cooking with the Big Green Egg so special. This versatile outdoor cooker allows you to explore flavours, experiment with recipes, and create unforgettable meals. Today, I am diving into one of my favourite recipes: chicken thighs. So, let’s get started on this delicious culinary adventure.
With the sports world mostly on a break other than the Paris Olympics (and the Blue Jays?), it also means a lot of my regular podcasts are also on a break.
So where do I turn? I turn to Trevor Noah and his insightful podcast called – What Now? With Trevor Noah.
I would describe it as a few people sitting around and talking about what is going on in the world, but they are not just complaining. They are digging deep into actual topics and having a very interesting conversation about them.
When you first become a dad, the world shrinks down to a few simple but intense tasks: feeding, changing diapers, and making sure this tiny human survives the night. Life is a blur of sleepless nights, first steps, and the occasional quiet moment where you catch your breath and think, “I’m really doing this.” But just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, your kids go and turn into teenagers, and suddenly, the rulebook gets rewritten.
I have entered that level of Dad life and to be honest, I’ve been trying to wrap my head around how to not only do it but talk about it. Because for those with teens, you know they are not that interested in their lives being shared by their parents. I believe that is referred to as cringe.
If you live in Ontario, you know that the LCBO is on strike. That means no wine, beer, or spirits for now from Ontario’s number one place to stock up on booze. As this is not a political blog, I am not going to get into the strike and who’s right, who’s wrong, and the 56 different opinions out there. I hope it gets solved soon. I want people to go back to work. I want people to be able to easily get their alcohol again. I also certainly never want to see Ontario Premier Doug Ford BBQ again.
On Monday the leader of the Province posted a video that featured an interactive map that shows where you can buy booze while the LCBO is on strike. Again, not what I want to focus on. The whole thing stinks in my opinion, but as a backyard BBQ guy, all I could focus on was the actual grilling. Have a look for yourself.
