Video: Johnson&Johnson – All For the Love

I know we just had Father’s Day last weekend, but I hope we all don’t stop celebrating dad. Just like mom, dads deserve year-round love. Johnson and Johnson knows that for sure.

They know it’s time to celebrate dads, too.

I don’t have to tell you that fathers play an important – and sometimes overlooked – role in the development of children. Moms and dads do this and I hope one day we can get to the point where it is just parenting and we don’t have to pit moms and dads against each other.

More than just “male moms,” dads bring a unique set of parenting qualities to the table. From the way they play with kids to the way they communicate, the way dads love has been shown to have a great impact on how a child grows up.

I am always amazed at parents, particularly moms, who raise their kids on their own. It must be tough.

Watch this trailer for Distinctly Dad.

In the posted video, Distinctly Dad, we meet three dads who are positively impacting their children’s lives. Just by being dads. And we learn that one of the most difficult things for fathers to realize is how irreplaceable they are.

Distinctly Dad is part of the Johnson & Johnson #howloveworks effort – a journey to discover how love has such a powerful impact on those we care about most. The video will explore evidence and anecdote, science and story. And together, find out how love works.

I invite you to take a look. Does it remind you of home? Maybe another dad you know?

Please share this story and help spread the importance of dads.

Video: Calls For Dad | #RealDadMoments | Dove Men+Care

I have seen these done for moms quite often. Thanks to Dove Men Care for doing one for dads. No matter how many times my boys call on me, I love hearing dad, daddy, daddoo or whatever it is.

Enjoy.

Three quarters of dads say they are responsible for their child’s emotional well-being, while only 20% of dads see this role reflected in media. It’s time to acknowledge the caring moments of fatherhood that often go overlooked.

Video: Heineken – ‘Guest of Honor’

Like I  have said before, one of my favorite beers is Heineken. I know it’s not local or a trendy craft beer, but sometimes, I just want a cool ass beer in a green bottle.

So of course, I enjoy their campaigns. Have you seen this one?

For one night, Heineken presented a one night theater experience titled “Guest of Honor” at The McKittrick Hotel in New York City . The stars of the show? Unsuspecting attendees.

“The Guest of Honor” provided an opportunity for everyday people to get outside their comfort zone and take the stage within an immersive theater experience.

Video: Kid Loses It Upon Hearing Steve Smith Is Gone

I grew up with many sports idols and I even remember the ones that broke my heart. But my parents did not have a camera or the Internet, so I got to avoid having my raw emotions go viral.

This video comes from Guyism and features a kid crying when his father breaks the news to him about Steve Smith who is no longer with the Carolina Panthers.

I don’t even really follow the NFL, but I know Smith has been in Carolina for like 100 years. Talk about heartbreaking.

My wife and I enjoyed the supporting character in this video, the little sister who still believes in the Panthers and is looking forward to cheering for Cam Newton.

This is so wrong to watch, but still very funny.
