I have been a fan of the NBA for as long as I can remember. But as a child, I would have killed for a professional basketball player to write a book for me to read when I was only a little squirt. Larry Bird maybe? Hmmm wait, it would have to be even earlier. Bill Russell? Anyways, kids today have it made. NBA stars are writing books for kids and here is the latest.
By none other than Metta World Peace. Yep, you read that right.
Former NBA Defensive Player of the Year Metta World Peace is now an official children’s book author.
The book, which retails for $12.95, is a short collection of stories aimed at children between the ages of 4 and 10, with titles like “Mud in My Bed” and “I’m Afraid of the Dark.”
