You know what toy has stood the test of time and still rules in our house?
Hot Wheels. Yes those tiny cars that every kid loves to play with and dream about driving one day. Both our boys have loved Hot Wheels since birth it seems. The cars, the cartoons, the bikes, the gear, the colouring books and everything else Hot Wheels.
We can barely get by the giant bin of cars at the grocery store without a meltdown for a new car.
I also love Hot Wheels. They have been around since I was a kid. They are quality built and they keep turning out new versions. The wheels are always aligned for smooth rides and the crazy tracks you can build are what kids dream of.
Yes, we love Hot Wheels.
So of course we are going to enter a contest that could win us a trip to Los Angeles and the ultimate Hot Wheels experience. Our two boys would lose their mind.

What is the Hot Wheels® Build It, Race It, Win It Contest?
The Hot Wheels® Build It, Race It, Win It Contest is a national sweepstakes in partnership with Toys”R”Us®, where fans can enter for a chance to win an EPIC Hot Wheels® Experience!
How to Enter
The contest is open to all Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority, and runs from Thursday, June 2nd to Friday, August 5th, 2016.
Entering the contest is simple, and there are two ways to do so:
Option 1: Entry With Purchase*
1) Look for the unique PIN (8-digit alphanumeric code) on specially marked Hot Wheels® products available for purchase at Toys “R” Us.
2) Visit www.toysrus.ca/hotwheels to access the contest microsite, and follow the instructions to enter the PIN and complete the entry form.
Option 2: Entry Without Purchase
Send an original handwritten letter (minimum of 50 words) telling us why you should win the grand prize. See Official Rules for mailing instructions.
*A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
Prizes
Entrants will be eligible to win one (1) of the following prizes:
• Three (3) Third Place Hot Wheels® Prize Packs (ARV $125 CAD each)
• One (1) Second Place Hot Wheels® Prize Pack (ARV $630 CAD)
• One (1) Grand Prize Hot Wheels® Experience for Four (4) in Los Angeles (ARV $10,000 CAD)
Winner Selection
Winners will be selected by random draw on August 22nd, 2016. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
