The Like A Dad family resides in Toronto in the great community of Parkdale. After moving into the neighbourhood in 2016, we all fell in love with the shops, restaurants, graffitti, people and vibe. While it can have a bad name from how it was viewed in the past, the area is clearly on the rise with trend-setting eateries and retro-looking condo buildings popping up.

The vibe is very earth-friendly and it offers a part of Toronto we are excited to raise our kids in. They will go to junior school here and high school when the time comes.

To help out other families, I will be posting reviews and thoughts about the local community. The focus will be on kid and family friendly options for eating out, where to play, where to shop and simply put, where to enjoy life.

Parkdale life is important to us and I hope that our experiences can help promote the local businesses and people that make it great.
